Nick joined Ingraham & Pautienus as an associate of the firm in 2005, shortly after being admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of Tennessee. Nick is now a member of Ingraham, Pautienus & Tidwell, PLLC. Nick holds membership in the Tennessee Bar Association, Christian Legal Society, and Williamson County Bar Association. EDUCATION -
Nick graduated summa cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA) in Nacogdoches, Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2001. He also received an additional diploma from the University's School of Honors. During his time at SFA, he served as member and president of the Pre-Law Club, an associate justice on the University's Supreme Court, a student worker for the physical plant, and an intern for a district judge. Honors he received while at SFA included being named the 2001 General Business Department's student of the year, being elected in the business honors fraternity Beta Gamma Sigma, the national honors fraternity Alpha Chi, and being voted one of the five best speakers in the State of Texas for the Texas Undergraduate Moot Court Association.
PRACTICE - Nick has worked in all areas of the firm's practice. He has served clients with needs for Last Wills and Testaments and other estate planning instruments, conservatorships and guardianships, business planning and litigation, probate and estate administration, probate litigation, non-profit corporation and church representation, adoption and termination of parental right cases, and personal injury matters. In May 2011, Nick received his license to practice law in the State of Texas from the Supreme Court of Texas. Nick now maintains dual licensure in Tennessee and Texas. PERSONAL -
Nick is married to Kristin Tidwell, and they have one son. They are actively involved in various ministry projects locally and internationally, including serving as advocates for Compassion International. Nick has served on the board of directors for Christian Women's Job Corps of Middle Tennessee and the Run4Kids Committee for the Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes, Inc.
