Frank Ingraham has served the legal needs of clients since 1954. Admitted to the Tennessee Bar and the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court, he is a Roscoe Pound Fellow, founding member of the American Trial Lawyers Foundation, and holds membership in the Nashville Bar Foundation, Williamson County Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, American Bar Association, the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, and the American Trial Lawyers Association. Frank has served on the Tennessee Representative Board of Directors of the National Beef Cattlemen's Association (Tax Committee) for more than 20 years. A retired Captain in the U.S. Air Force, he served as Executive Officer/Staff Judge Advocate and legal advisor to the base Commander. His clients have included First American National Bank, Jarman Foundation, National Association of Free Will Baptists, Tennessee District Assemblies of God, Southern Baptist and Tennessee Baptist Foundations, Methodist Layman Foundation, and the Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes. EDUCATION - Frank graduated cum laude from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and philosophy. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University School of Law, serving as writer and contributing editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review. PRACTICE - With over 50 years in practice, Frank has served a myriad of clients - both individual and corporate, including a conglomerate of more than 100 corporate entities. He has extensive church law, agriculture law, and civil litigation experience at all levels, including first impression cases (i.e., in Knopp v. American Airlines, he established the right of the injured public to common law recovery from the airlines, and in Tennessee Baptist Children's Homes Inc. v. I.R.S., he established a religious institution's affiliate's right not to file a 990 tax form). PERSONAL - Frank is married to Frances Rose Ingraham. They are the parents of a son (deceased), two daughters, four granddaughters and a grandson. He has contributed to the community as President and Director of the Woodmont Kiwanis Club, Officer of the Franklin Lions Club, Chairman of the Tennessee Governor's Prayer Breakfast, President of Nashville Farmer's Club and served on the Board of Directors of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.
